How did you like Redeemer College?

May 22, 2006

We would like to hear from everyone about Redeemer: what was good, what could have been better. Comments are always welcome. Is it worth going back next year? Feel free to share about any of the facets of the conference, be it transportation, food, lodging, etc.

Redeemer was great but I do with we had a larger place to gather at night to play fob games and such. The cabin living rooms were too cramp to have large games.

everything was awesome including speaker, lodging, and fellowship.
    howeverr..
transportation was tight and food was probably the worst i’ve had at any retreat ever…

yo sooie, awesome idea of putting up this blog! i was thinking the same thing…

i thought redeemer rooms were awesome, but ya like mentioned already, living rooms too small for games, and food was lacking… but if i had to do it all over again i would, great value for $100.

i gotta say, i came to the retreat with zero expectations and really came very reluctantly. But did God show up so powerfully.

i was glad to see everyone of your faces there. mac, western, uoft, waterloo, and york of course!! to see everyone just attentively listening to the message and taking so much away from it, being challenged by it so much was very encouraging. my prayer is that the this is not a temporary high. i pray that this is now an unquenchable thirst to know him, and to learn and to show God’s grace to the world.

wouldnt have missed this retreat for anything. out of crappy situations, with finanaces and what not, God show’s his grace. Twas and awesome retreat.

    God Bless you all.
    Have an awesome summer!

I loved how we had burgers with the same ingredients for two nights in a row, and that we had no sausages whatsoever for breakfast. Of course, by ‘loved’ I really mean ‘hated’.

However, I liked the fact that the girls FINALLY got the far cabins for like the first time in retreat history. AMEN BROTHERS ~??

What would be cool is if cooked our own house meals and made our house a small group instead. That is a sick idea. It’ll probably take time to cook and clean up, but doing that one of the days would be fun I think =)

The place was really great, I’ve been to it before for a wedding reception. But yeah, I agree with a lot of the people who have already posted. We should’ve booked or had a bigger room for everyone to play together instead of being separated in each cabin. Cabins were really good though…they were really comfortable.

Hahahahahaha…. Oh and maybe next time… for the kitchen to be opened so that we could make snacks or something… instead of making alllll the snacks in room number 2.

I agree with Harold 100%… No eggs, no sausage, and no BACON??? mannnnn

    i felt deprived… major deprivation
